Every November, Hachiya Persimmons explode onto the Santa Monica Farmers Market. This sweet and custard-like fruit, with flavors of brown sugar, cinnamon, mango and apricot, makes a wonderful contribution to my seasonal cocktails.

The challenge is that the season is only three weeks long. So, looking for a way to share their magic year round, I have teamed up with Murray Family Farms and The Spirit Guild to create this very special brandy, the first made entirely from organic Hachiya Persimmons. 

Matthew Biancaniello got his start at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and helped pioneer the farm-to-glass movement.

The Spirit Guild is a craft distillery founded by sixth-generation farmer Miller Duvall. Located in downtown Los Angeles, The Spirit Guild captures the abundance and innovation of California by creating spirits entirely from local citrus.

Brandy is bottled in a 375 ml bottle.
